KINDRED HOSPITAL CHARLESTON RECEIVES QUALITY AWARD AT NATIONAL MEETING
During the Annual Leadership Meeting of Kindred Healthcare’s Hospital Division, Kindred Hospital Charleston received The Spirit Quality Award.
The awards are given each year at Kindred’s Annual Hospital Leadership Meeting to recognize hospitals and leaders who have excelled in quality and operational performance.
Kindred Hospital Charleston was named the winner in Kindred’s East Region. The Spirit Quality Award is based on quality indicators including:
- nosocomial pressure wound rate
- call light response
- bloodstream infection rate
- ventilator-associated pneumonia
- pain management satisfaction
- patient satisfaction
The Chief Executive Officer of Kindred Hospital Charleston accepted the award on behalf of the hospital.
